Outside the great room, a large wood deck faces the water and includes lawn tables and chairs for relaxing or entertaining friends.  The porch is a quiet spot where you can enjoy sitting and watching the sunset or deer eating in the fields.  Early risers will hear the chorus of birds in the pine trees surrounding the cabin.

You may be lucky enough to see a great blue heron or a Canada goose on the pond.  Wild turkeys are seen frequently with a brood of young, sometimes in flocks of thirty or more.  An occasional fox or coyote can be seen.  Deer are abundant, and can be seen daily.  Even black bear have been seen in the strawberry fields.

 A removable ramp is available for wheelchair access.

 Close by, a 24’ X 48’ pavilion is located within a hundred yards with lights and electrical outlets. This facility can be rented separately or in conjunction with the cabin.  Click HERE for more details. 

The pavilion includes provisions for barbecuing and horseshoe pitching.  There is room to set tents and campers (no hookups) with access to the men's and ladies' restrooms and showers in the cabin basement. This is truly an ideal spot for a family reunion in the country! The farm is ideal for hiking, bike riding or playing volleyball on the sand volleyball court.
